Greg is the Founder and President of Channelspark International Inc., who’s passion is to explore new countries and cultures and use this understanding to build business relationships around the globe. With over 25 years of experience as a Business Development & Marketing Specialist, being a certified export trainer & having worked on the ground with corporate leadership teams in over 55 countries, Greg understands how businesses market & sell. Anywhere.

Through his experience working with companies in over 15 sectors as well as projects done with multiple economic development agencies, Greg has developed strategic insight into analyzing a company’s product or service and identifying an effective map for expansion that fits the company’s needs, budget and abilities. Greg has designed and developed dozens of successful partner programs, some with up to 400 partners in over 50 countries. Having worked with economic development agencies, Greg has developed and delivered seminars & workshops on how to expand a business into new markets, delivered in a number of countries and across Canada.

Greg’s passion for exploring started in high school when he lived on a farm & went to school in Denmark for a year. During university, he won a scholarship to study at the University of Konstanz in Germany, which led to work at German corporations in Munich & Dusseldorf, helping kick off a career in international marketing & business development.

Along with his CITP designation, Greg is a Registered Incoterms® 2020 Trainer with the International Chamber of Commerce, and has 2 Bachelor degrees from Carleton University, a BA in German and a BA in Psychology. During his career, he has lived and worked in Germany, the U.K., the Netherlands, and Australia, and currently resides with his wife and two children in Abbotsford, BC.

Through work with hundreds of companies in multiple sectors, as well as working for economic development agencies, Greg has developed the ability and a process for quickly analyzing a company's product and sales model, and determining which market to target or how to drive revenue in existing markets with best practice sales & marketing advice.

The ability allows Greg to sit down with almost any company, identify and target specific sales, marketing or exporting issues, and determine an action plan & steps to successful revenue growth.

Greg has decades of in-depth experience on export strategy, international sales, marketing, partner programs & managing international projects around the world.

Greg has worked with hundreds of companies on building Business & Marketing Plans for selling or exporting outside of Canada as well as with international companies looking to enter the Canadian market.

Having lived and worked in 4 countries, Greg has a unique understanding of how European and Asia Pacific based businesses approach selling, buying or marketing products or services of all types.

Greg has achieved certification status with a number of global organisations, allowing for the delivery of training on multiple sales, marketing, exporting & international trade subjects to any audience.

Greg has also developed marketing & exporting training programs, built to help businesses of all types & sizes determine how to develop Marketing & Export Plans, as well as having contributed to the development & delivery of internationally funded training programs focused on teaching business communities to successfully enter new markets.
